Endless Rage is bugged, but…
Endless Rage January 31st, 2008Noone really knows how, not even if it’s giving too much or too little rage. Blizzard noted that “Endless Rage is not granting the correct bonus to rage generation”, it’s been on since patch 2.3.3. When I first read that note, the first thing that came to my head was that my beer is just about to end and I need to grab another one, the second thing that came to my head was:
/care
Yea, that’s pretty much all I’ve to say on the topic :P.

What about if it gives now 0.25% more rage instead of 25%?! ;>
Also we can always whine more about TM, WM and Imp. Slam not being in arms tree.
P.S. On a more serious note ER could be nice with sword/axe.
P.S.2. Still waiting for ER to get so much love as Shadowstep did. Will it happen before wotlk? Will it ever happen? And of course Imp. MS too - worst 35+ 5/5 talent in game?

Fug, your last statement made your entire argument invalid.
Endless rage has made a much more noticable difference in rage generation - even with imp MS. I’m never going back from Imp MS/ER.

It should be too little.

I used to like your blog, good notes, tips and tools etc.
But now, as of these 3 last topics I’ve lost my respect for you… I mean, whining about 2v2 setups, sword spec (ppl go with what they like, not what’s “best”) and now this…
Never coming back here, sorry.

I respecced to 41/20 last night and its definitely generating too little rage. Imp MS is awesome if you have that rage to MS every cooldown, but you don’t (Even using s3 sword + ER).

ER and the 35+ 5/5 arms talent are bad. Nuff said.

I have been coming to this site for a long time now (much better than the WoW warrior forums), but never posted anything. However, i feel i must comment on Zeth…..Please Grow up!

Willma, I would rather take 3% more damage and 5% more from Imp. Hamstring (or +2% more damage from BF) than 4% more MS damage and 0.8 sec lower MS cooldown.
If Imp. MS would lower rage cost of MS by 1/2/3/4/5 (like it should) then it would be worth taking.

If Imp MS lowered rage cost, then it would be worthless. Reducing cooldown by 1 sec means you can do six in 30 seconds instead of five or possibly keep MS up on two targets. If you want more rage, the solution is called ER. Seriously, even bugged with ER, UB and mace spec, you won’t fail to have enough rage to keep MS up unless you normal attack a PW:S over and over.

Dunno about you but I always have the rage to MS.
February 1st, 2008 at 3:19 pm
Again, 30 rage / 6 seconds = 25 rage / 5 seconds, that’s why imp. MS reducing the cooldown AND rage cost would make sense.
February 1st, 2008 at 4:15 pm
Well, sure, both would be nice but I’ll take the CD reduction over the rage reduction. Not sure it matters though since I have enough rage with ER.

Blue confirmed not currently generating enough rage. Will generate significantly more rage in 2.4.

This actually makes me laugh. All of those people who say endless rage is so awesome, were just under the placebo effect. Probably wanted to go against the grain or some such.

Kolenzo, ER is generating extra rage just not enough. You make it sound like it wasn’t generating any extra rage at all. Its fine if you don’t like it, don’t spec it but stop hating since it has its uses.

I noticed something…
Currently we have (mostly):
35/23/3
33/28
41/20 and 41/17/3
Funny thing is that:
- Flurry, which is main force of 33/28, is bugged (if you crit when it is under proc it will not refresh)
- ER, which is main force of 41/x/x, is bugged (5% more rage instead of 25%)
Conclusion:
Good, old 35/23/3 FTW until 2.4 that fix Flurry and ER.
P.S. I don’t know what to say that ER is bugged for over a year and Flurry is bugged since 2.3 (and this is bloody important talent for PvE) but they instead hotfix some /care mojo pet and tell warrior community “we will fix that in 2-3 months kkthx”…

I might be reading that wrong, but ER is supposed to be bugged since 2.3.3, which is much less than over a year.
Edit: flurry is not bugged, just checked and it refresh itself no matter how many charges there are left.

Flurry is indeed fixed. Probably was fixed in 2.3.3.
ER is rather bugged from very beginning.
