Hi2u life
Uncategorized May 8th, 2007So yea, you all noticed lack of updates recently, and the reason for that is simple - me, the author of this blog, managed to quit the game. I had a lot of fun during those 2 years I played WoW, but it’s time for me to go. I’d probably still play the game if I had people to play with, but in the end one by one peeps from my team started leaving. Arena was the only thing that kept me playing, I rerolled horde, transfered servers and did everything I could to be in a good arena team, and failed, thus loosing the only reason to play the game.
That being said, it would be a pity to leave this blog to die, so if there is someone out there who want to keep it updated, let me know in comments and I’ll contact you via e-mail (assuming you give me a real one there ;p).

Sad to hear you quit, but I understand how that goes. This is my 2nd time coming back to the game and during my WoWing I’ve seen many RL and online friends come and go due to various reasons. And to be honest there really isn’t all that much to do in WOW if you don’t raid. Arena only consumes a very small part of your playtime if you don’t need to grind for gear anymore.

Sad to hear but many do quit. I dont know whats up with it to be honest. Is it the simple “Hardcore! or no go”?
I for one play it casualy, log in having some fun and log out. I suspect WAR to be good. Maybe you will find your place in the Chosen? ;P

The day EA bought Mythic was the day WAR died for me.
And it’s not about going hardcore or not, Arena doesn’t require you to be hardcore, actually it’s quite the opposite. The problem I see is that, there is no mechanism in the game to help people form arena teams. Before cross-realm battlegrounds you knew every PvP on your server if you just played BGs, now you don’t, and it’s not said you will meet people who want to do 5v5 on 2v2 practice or in front of Orgri/IF. If you knew people u will pvp with by the time you hit 70, then you were set, other way - you are fucked. If you had some pvp oriented peeps on friend list, you could form a team, but if your friend list was empty (and mine was after migration), looking for someone to pvp with is a failure.

is this a web site or just a blog, Because i am interested in moderating this site if you could add fourms and other things like that. Is that possible. and on a side note if you have a alliance warrior come to eonar and we will find a pally and kill shit lol

My human warrior doesn’t exist anymore, deleted him for the sake of trolling forums:

Orcs ftw.
This is wordpress, so you can add and edit pages. I’d have to install something like php/punBB for forums, it’s all doable.

if you help with the Web base stuff i mean like installing the crap ill run it no problem. Like I said i wanna make a website that is #1 warrior resorce for PvE and PvP ( my fav) and i will also be starting a new 5v5 on eonar and giving fraps ( full versoins) to my team mates then getting there footage and make a awsome PvP video series (i cant spell lol, thats what word [or firefox 2.0 ;p] is for) anyway man i hope ya find your way into the game again would be cool to work with ya ingame and out.
I’m a busy man, but installing stuff like forums is not a big deal. Site runs on virtual host, so don’t suspect gigabytes of space to make downloads, warcraftmovies.com is for that purpose anyways ;). So yea, if you feel dedicated for it, we can give it a shot.

I think I understand how you refleckt on this. But I dont think its a problem with a lack of a invitation system for the arena. That would only put you in a Pug arena group?
Use the ingame chat. Troll the server forums. Join a guild! There is a system to help people to form groups. And its always been there… sadly even if you speak up many wont answer.
But this isent a game related problem but a people problem. I’m not saying its you! GOD NO! I love this page and read it over and over again once… twice OK OK! ten times a week atleast.
But wow beeing the first truly big MMO has attracted alot of immature players. Cuz before many were playing CS or who knows. Because paying to play was out of the question. BTW did you ever play DAOC or EVE?
The Internet and its native ability to hide its user behind the screen are effecting people. Where is the world heading? On the internet you are right and anyone else are wrong unless proven otherwise and even when proven its ignored. On the internet you can be someone! Sadly nobody cares… they are also trying to be someone. ;P

Still its sad to hear about you leaving.
Now enjoy the real life! And good luck.

I’m not saying WoW is not a fun game, hell, I’d be crazy to say such thing against a game with what, 9million player base? It’s just the situation I got into that made the joy I got not adequate for the enormous amounts of time I spent on-line in WoW.
You know, when a game stops being entertainment something is wrong. I didn’t say “I’m quitting the game NOW, fuck you!”, it wasn’t planned. I just logged out one day like always, played another game for a while and just couldn’t make myself to click the WoW icon on my desktop anymore, not because I don’t want to waste my life, since I’m most likely going to waste it that way or another, but because I want to have fun while doing it :).
So, web application developement, I’m back into the buissness, and Vanthia.com will pwn y00!

This blog had potential, but was a tad narrowminded. Perhaps you should try to have more profilers blog here, to keep things alive and in perspective. Your contentions and proclaims were nice, but too little disagreement and debating makes the articles trivial. By narrowminded I mean, I have seen better warrior articles on none-warrior blogs, no pun intended. I liked comming here, and I always wish it got better, but instead of getting better, you simply closed it. What a sad day. I’m looking forward to your return.

Well, Ansi… here is your chance to take over and make things better, the way you thought it should be
