Arena, Paladin April 23rd, 2007Saw this on the official boards and got a good laugh:
“Warriors complain that they suck in solo PvP, and are told to find a healer if they want to be good.
Pallies complain that they suck in solo PvP, and are told to STFU and heal.
Pallies and Warriors decide to PvP together.
Now people are asking to ban them from PvP.
Amazing.”
Funny because its relatively true. The difference between pvping on my own (charge, maybe kill 1 person before roasted by every ranged unit on the enemy team), and pvping with a pocket healer (charge, kill all of those ranged units as they feed me rage) is night and day. Too bad I could almost never find a reliable pocket healer since the vast majority of priest pvpers are shadow and pally pvpers are ret.
That being said, on my 2v2 arena team all it takes is a silenced or cycloned paladin and we lose.

That did make me laugh. And it made my teammate laugh even harder.
On another note, I’d love to see some articles on enchants and trinkets. Maybe even DEP values. I have some informative links I’d love to show you to get a debate going, but it appears to be impossible to contact you.

i wonder there isnt any comment on the buffing of the already overpowered and way too easy to achieved blacksmithing weapons that every dumbass and his twink carry around…
btw i specced back from 31/30 arena dps to 35/23/3, i just wanted to enjoy TM once again for some pug bg stance switching fun. i just love instant disarm on rouges, sweepings are better to use, instant WW after going in berserker… but im missing the imp slam alot. the flurry loss isnt as heavy as i expected but recognizable for sure. maybe ill get the slam back in the built.

For my part I’ve been playing my priest and my girlfriend’s warlock (and helping my friend level his paladin - currently 67).
I pretty much maxed out my warrior’s gear other than some new shoulders or going up to t5 (I’ll be getting gladiator shoulds in a week or so if I don’t get doomplate). So pve has been a bust other than owning noob instances to help friends out.
On the pvp side playing a warrior without a pocket healer is mind-numbing and that’s one of the reasons I switched over to my priest. Apparently paladins are quite boring to play (sure seems like it to me) and my 2v2 partner quit WoW.
So yeah, since I haven’t been playing my warrior I haven’t had much to discuss about it. I think Terhix had the same type of thing, switching to a lock tho for him.

the fix to all instant extra attacks on the PTR might be worth a note… no swing timer reset for sword spec (warrior & rogue) and even windfury. extra hits are yellow now but still grant extra rage, just no timer reset anymore.

Bleh, I’ve been leveling my warlock too. Next week I’ll have full gladiator set and then I’ll just be banking my points for next season. I just log on my warrior for our arena matches and then log back on to level my warlock. I’m really looking forward to the shadow priest/warlock 2v2 and shadow priest/warlock/rogue 3v3 I’m going to run soon.
